CICM, with the support from the Chemical Productivity Nexus (CPN), will be extending the Chemical Safety for Productivity Improvement sessions to East Malaysia in early December 2018.

One of the key objectives of these sessions is to create awareness to chemical companies, in particular the SMEs on chemical risk in the event of incidents or accidents in their operations, as well as legislation governing occupational safety and health in the chemical industry. Key topics to be shared at this session are as follows:

• Chemical Risks to Health in SMEs (by CICM)
• OSH Regulations and Implications from OSH Incidents / Accidents (by DOSH)
• Role of BOMBA in Hazardous Material Incidents (by BOMBA)
• What is Responsible Care & Why it is Essential? (by CICM)
• Measuring Productivity Performance through Productivity Toolkits (by MPC)
