The Road Transport Department has announced in mid-December 2018 the new timeline pertaining to the ruling and implementation of reflector installation based on MS 828: 2011 for commercial vehicles carrying dangerous goods (DG) with BDM more than 3 500kg. This will start on July 1, 2019 for new and imported used vehicles that has or will be registered. For registered vehicles, this ruling will be effective on January 1, 2020.

To provide further details and clarity of the ruling, the RTD has accepted CICM's invitation to brief members on the above-mentioned ruling. The briefing session will be held as follows:
