Join CICM at the China - Malaysia Panel Discussion on Green Chemicals & New Materials, jointly organized by CICM in collaboration with the organizer of the 2026 Shanghai Fair. Details of the panel discussion are as follows:

The panel discussion will be moderated by Mr Thomas David, CICM EXCO member and will feature sharing of information and insights from CICM and the Shanghai Chemical Industry Association (SCIA) on the following topics:

• Overview of the Chemical Industry and Green Chemicals Sector in Shanghai, China by the Shanghai Chemical Industry Association (SCIA)
• Overview of the Malaysian Chemical Industry by Dato’ Muhtar Hashim, Executive Director, CICM
• From Feedstock to Formulation: Building Resilient Green Chemical Supply Chains in ASEAN by Mr Mohamed Syadli Saringat, Honorary Secretary, CICM

The panel discussion will conclude with a Q&A session, providing an opportunity for Malaysian delegates (including CICM members) and Chinese delegates to exchange views and engage in discussions on innovation and emerging opportunities in green chemicals and new materials. This will be followed by a guided visit of the exhibition area featuring chemical companies, led by the Secretary General of SCIA.
