Welcome to Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia
The Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia or also known as CICM, was established and incorporated in 1982, as a company limited by guarantee. CICM origins back as an industry group under the aegies of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM).
Currently, CICM is the umbrella body representing the various sub-sector chemical groups (ranging from oleochemicals, paints, fertilizers, petrochemicals, agriculture chemicals, industrial gases, coating resins and biodiesel sectors), following a restructuring exercise in year 2001 to establish a stronger and better representation of the Malaysian chemical industry.
Join Us
Membership in CICM is opened to those who are in the chemical industry. There are two types of membership; full and associate membership. Full membership is opened to companies who are chemical manufacturers in Malaysia. Associate membership is opened to companies engaged in trading, consultancy, providing services to the chemical industry in Malaysia.ENTRANCE FEE AND SUBSCRIPTION
- Entrance Fee - RM 1,000.00
- Annual Subscription for Full Membership is based on issued capital:-
Issued Capital Annual Subscription Below RM 10 million RM 3,100.00 RM 10 million and above RM 4,600.00 - Associate Members pay an annual flat rate of RM 3,100.00
To join the CICM membership, please download and complete the Membership Application Form and submit it to the CICM Secretariat's office together with the entrance fee and first year subscription fee, made payable to the "Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia".
