Process industries can be very hazardous if poorly managed. Safe processes prevents injuries to people and fatalities, protect assets and is good for business in these challenging times. 

CICM, the Malaysian steward for the promotion of health, safety and environment (HSE) excellence through Responsible Care and the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), a global institution with a passion and mission to co-ordinate the sharing of best process safety practices through global symposiums; will be staging the Hazards Asia Pacific 2017 Symposium on September 26-28, 2017 at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur. The theme of the Symposium is "Process Safety: Now, More than Ever" and will cover process safety topics in the oil & gas, chemicals and food industries.

SYMPOSIUM HIGHLIGHTS:
For the first time, the Hazards AP conference will feature a session on the IChemE Safety Centre's Interactive Case Study simulation where is it an innovative, real-life, case-study experience, which places you in an incident where you make your own critical decisions and experience the outcomes.

The symposium will also feature keynote speakers from the Industry, Government and the Academia from local and abroad, discussing on various aspects of process safety management, practices and policies for processed based industries:
